This piece is one half of the dyptic "Sea Turtle on Earth" - see also Sea Turtle on Earth 1. I am delighted with the way pastel moves under my fingers on the paper. Listening to some of my favorite music, I make shapes and choose colors without my thoughts.

I have always loved color, shape and texture. During the art making process, I am responding to an internal knowing about what comes next.
